Welcome to Needarent We are a high-end luxury short-term rental platform dedicated to you.
Need a Rent was established in Mexico in 2017 under the NDR Queretaro group during the SUM Startup Mexico 2018 acceleration program. Its mission is to provide high-end services for short-term and long-term rentals in Mexico and Latin America.
Since our first visit in 2017 to the Mexican Caribbean peninsula, Cancun, playa del Carmen and Tulum. As a result of our exploration, we applied to an incubation launched by the SCT program Punto Mexico Conectado in 2017 in Queretaro. In the same year November 2017, we started to pitch our company in different acceleration events; Switch 2017 “Festival de aceleracion” in Leon Guanajuato Mexico, where we met and shared our elevator pitch, interacting with several funds and organizations to raise capital to develop our platform.
In 2017 we travelled to Cuba, Habana since most of its economy depends on tourism, we thought that learning from an economy limited in resources can provide the best services available. Back In Mexico, we applied to the acceleration program with Startup Mexico in 2017 making several changes in our business model, logo changes and trademark registration in September 2018 we launched several applications in different countries to pitch the idea, one of the most important applications was the international accelerator in March 2018 with the collaboration of the Mexican consulate in Austin Texas, participating with the Mexican delegation representing Casa Mexico at the SXSW.
Once Back in Mexico, we deployed several MVPs in our hometown of Santiago de Queretaro. In 2019, we decided to jump into the international markets looking for the best tourist destinations to bring you the best services.
In the summer of 2019, we arrived in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and ran a field exploration focused on tourist activities, especially short-term rentals.
In Summer 2020 during COVID times in Vietnam, we managed to explore the southern coast of Vietnam, Nha Trang, Mui Ne and Da Nang Provinces.
Gathering international experience through all these years to provide the best solutions in vocational rentals around the globe.
